Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 15, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Catalytic Signal website, the Vanguard Leads browser extension, our API, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and must discontinue use immediately.
If you are accessing the Services on behalf of a business, corporation, or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service & Architecture
Catalytic Signal provides B2B revenue intelligence software. A core component of our Service is the Vanguard Leads Engine, a client-side browser extension that automates the extraction of publicly available business contact information.
- Client-Side Execution: You acknowledge that Vanguard Leads operates locally on your machine using your own authenticated sessions and IP address.
- Third-Party Platforms: The Services may interact with third-party networks (e.g., LinkedIn, corporate directories). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these third-party platforms.
3. Acceptable Use & Restrictions
You agree not to use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations. Specifically, you agree NOT to:
- Reverse Engineer: Decompile, decrypt, or attempt to extract the source code of the Vanguard Leads Engine or Signal Score AI.
- Spam & Harassment: Use extracted data to violate the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, or to harass individuals.
- Circumvent Security: Attempt to bypass our licensing, subscription tiers, or rate limits.
- Resell Data: Package the raw extracted data into a competing database product (unless explicitly granted an Enterprise Data Reseller license).
4. Assumption of Risk (Third-Party Accounts)
CRITICAL: Because the Vanguard Leads extension utilizes your native browser sessions to automate public data extraction, your use of the Service is at your own risk regarding third-party platform policies.
While we engineer our software to mimic human behavior (V2 Ghost Protocol), Catalytic Signal is not responsible for any warnings, restrictions, shadow-bans, or account terminations applied to your third-party social media or networking accounts by the operators of those platforms.
5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider, Stripe.
Refund Policy: Due to the compute-intensive nature of our AI processing and the immediate delivery of digital data, we do not offer refunds for partial months of service or unused API credits. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Services until the end of your current billing cycle.
6. Limitation of Liability
Please read this section carefully as it limits our legal liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catalytic Signal and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services.
- Any changes to third-party APIs or website structures that render our extraction engine temporarily or permanently ineffective.
